Her Profile
Nondumiso is the founder and Managing Director of Co-liber8 Advisory Services. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) with over 8 years’ experience in corporate lending, value investing and private equity..
She has assisted a range of businesses across sectors to access growth, working capital and acquisition funding through her role as a transactor in the Leverage Finance team at Investec Bank Ltd where she executed deals to a total estimated value of c. R3bn. During this time, Nondumiso also gained invaluable experience in corporate turnarounds and restructures after being a deal member in two business rescue processes, one of which was widely publicized in South Africa, Edcon Limited. As an investment manager at Value Capital Partners, a pioneering activist investor focusing on investing in undervalued companies on the JSE, Nondumiso gained proficiency at identifying undervalued high-quality businesses and supporting the executives and Board to unlock value by developing and implementing various “value unlock” initiatives. Some of the investments she was involved in included Sun International, Adcorp Limited, Lesaka Technologies and Novus Holdings.
Nondumiso currently holds a Senior Associate position at Sanlam Private Equity, a high performing mid-market fund, where she is involved in making strategic equity investments in attractive unlisted businesses with strong management and significant growth potential. As part of her role, she also sits on the Board of the portfolio companies to partner with management in driving the growth strategies and to ensure that there is sufficient oversight and accountability.
